Below is a summary of London Region organised events in date order

This is a quick link to see our planned events over the next few months

We continue to run our Bookworms Meetings (4th Wednesday) as hybrid most months - sometimes in person (shown on the meeting detail). North London (2nd Monday); SE London (1st Monday) and SW London (2nd Tuesday) are now in-person only. We offer an online only London Zoom (1st Wednesday or 1st Thursday alternating) for those who cannot easily reach the three regular locations.

All four of our "local meetings" (N, SE, SW & Zoom) have a similar agenda: (1) a member of the group as the Keynote Speaker for 30+ minutes; (2) Image Sharing - five images from 12 - 15 participants; (3) Discussion of events in the Region over the next two months: and (4) Discussion of future activities for the group.

Our photo-walks programme (Street (2nd Saturday) and Midweek Explorers (3rd week)) is operating as normal with a maximum of 16 participants plus leaders on each. We also have a micro-groups which arranges a Landscape/Citiscape field trips most months.

13th May (Monday) SE London. Steve Jones ARPS presents: A Wet Sunday Bus Journey in Yucatan. This will be followed by Picture Sharing as usual. IN PERSON at the Daylight Inn

13th May (Monday) North London. Isky Gordon presents The National Theatre followed by Picture Sharing. IN PERSON At the Alwyne Castle

14th May (Tuesday). Visit to the Supreme Court let by Natasha Bennett.

14th May (Tuesday) SW London. Brian Connolly LRPS presents "A Walk in the Woods". followed by Picture Sharing. IN PERSON at the Coat & Badge

21st May (Tuesday) Mid-WEEK Explorers visit Pimlico and Battersea Park. PHOTOWALK

22nd May (Wednesday) BOOKWORMS. Michel Claverie presents Magnum Contact Sheets. HYBRID from the Canonbury Tavern

STOP PRESS:

Our annual member exhibition (LRMPE 2024) is all ready to be installed and opens on Wednesday 20th March until Sunday 24th with the Open Evening on Thursday 21st march at the Espacio Gallery Bethnal Green Road. There will be 104 mounted prints by 104 London Members plus a rolling digital disply of "second" images. Other images from some of London Region's activities will also be on display along with a rehanging of the RPS London - CafeArt Photography Mentoring Group Exhibition recently shown in Outney Library. All of our regular monthly meetings are being held on the usual dates; N London and Bookworms are hybrid meetings (in-person and online); SW London and SE London are now in-person only. We have introduced a London Zoom (online only) for those who cannot easily reach the three regular locations. click here for details of all our events.
